Established in 2006 by veteran educationists, Nicole and the late Gideon Benade, Centro Educacional Njerenje International School is a high quality, inclusive educational facility that has become synonymous with educational excellence in Mozambique.

The dream to start Njerenje saw Gideon and Nicole making their way to Chimoio in 2002 to assess the possibility of starting an English medium school. Despite not having proper facilities, the two rented various properties where from three students, the school has grown to the level at which it is today. Despite the enormity of the task, the two stuck it out with their persistence leading to the foundation upon which the institution is built upon.

The University of Cambridge curriculum as well as examinations are internationally recognized, with students who have attained the qualifications finding easy passage into institutions of higher learning worldwide.

Centro Educacional Njerenje International School students are highly marketable as they have a robust foundation for the next level of education they may pursue. We offer a broad curriculum which enables our students to pursue their interests and be well placed within the global community. The school has boarding facilities, allowing for a life at the center as well the option for day schooling.
