Academics alone are not sufficient for our learners. In this regard, we have realized the centrality of sport, now a global industry with huge financial flows, playing a key role within the Centro Educacional Njerenje International School offerings. Globally, many sporting professionals have been nurtured and identified through participation at school events where they have excelled to the point of representing their nations.
The 2022 Mozambican Taekwondo Under 63 kilogram National Champion, Louiza Menezes, was a student of Centro Educacional Njerenje International School. Siblings, Enzo and Yula Matola, who are in Grades 11 and 8 respectively, are also part of the Mozambican Taekwondo National Team.
The development of the physical side of the child must never be neglected. Apart from intellectual nourishment, the school also provides a number of sporting activities in tandem with the key development requirements and skill sets of the different age groups. The school has also hosted international cricket matches featuring the Mozambican National Team.
